Roger Romo is a bright prospect born and bred from the what he calls the “City of Boxnard” (Oxnard,CA). Romo is the little brother of boxing superstar “Ferocious” Fernando Vargas. But Roger does not believe in taking the easy way to the top of the boxing world. He wants to pave his own way, which is the only way he feels is the right way. That’s his way. Roger refuses to live in the shadow of no man. And if someone dares to try to tell him different, be assured that he will be quick to have a say. Roger can spark up when he knows its time for business. Like Mike Tyson’s mentor and adopted father, Cus D’Amato, used to say … “To make a fire you need a spark. Once you got a spark , you fan it. The you got a fire. You fan it more then it becomes a roaring blaze”.“Boxnard” is more than happy to open its arms to its future star.
